We are a specialized contract manufacturer for individual rubber and elastomer moulded parts. With over 30 years of manufacturing and market expertise in rubber technology, we have established ourselves as a reliable development partner and manufacturer for demanding industrial customers.
Our core competence is the processing of rubber into high-quality molded and composite parts – regardless of the quantity, size or subsequent area of application. We support our customers from the initial concept through to series delivery and cover almost all production options at our site in Ostermünchen. This vertical range of manufacture makes us the preferred partner for technically demanding projects with high quality and precision requirements in electronics, mechanical engineering, medical technology, aerospace and defense.
Our product portfolio
We develop, manufacture and finish customer-specific moulded and composite parts from a wide range of materials:
- Rubber and elastomer moulded parts: O-rings, special and precision seals, flat gaskets, bellows, membranes, rubber buffers, stop buffers, rubber profiles, rubber plugs, grommets and rubber rollers.
- Silicone molded parts (HTV and LSR): silicone seals, molded hoses, grommets, suction cups, silicone and cover caps, protective caps, special seals and silicone membranes.
- Composite parts: Rubber-metal compounds (sealing seats, stop buffers, vibration-damping components), rubber-plastic composites (e.g. insulating for electronics or conductive for medical technology), rubber-Teflon composites and rubber-plastic-metal multi-component parts.
- Materials: NBR, EPDM, SBR, HNBR, FKM (Viton®), VMQ (silicone), TPE and others – in all common hardnesses and colors, in combination with metals (stainless steel, aluminum, copper, brass), plastics and fabric inserts.
- Manufacturing processes: Compression molding, injection molding, compression transfer molding and injection transfer molding – also in cold runner processes – supplemented by extensive finishing (freeze deburring, tempering, talcum coating, coating with PU, PTFE and TFM).
Your task
As a sales representative, you will acquire and support B2B customers. We define the sales territory flexibly together.
- Independent acquisition of new customers in your contract territory
- Support and expansion of existing customer relationships
- Identification of customer needs and technical requirements
- Supporting projects from the initial inquiry to sampling and series production – in close coordination with our engineering and internal sales team
- Representation of GUME at customer visits, trade fairs and industry events
- Maintaining your customer contacts and regular reporting
What you bring with you
- Multi-year sales experience in the B2B sector, ideally with technical products that require explanation – preferably in the field of elastomers, plastics, sealing technology or component manufacturing
- Existing network in at least one of the focus industries (electronics, mechanical engineering, medical technology) is desirable
- Technical understanding of materials, manufacturing processes and design drawings – you communicate at eye level with purchasing, development and quality assurance
- Independent, structured way of working with a high level of self-drive and entrepreneurial thinking
- Registered business as a sales representative or a willingness to register
- Strong communication and negotiation skills in German; knowledge of English is an advantage
- Commitment and careful maintenance of your customer contacts and sales documentation
